Identifying clients for trial or purchase
About identifying clients for trial or purchase
Red Hat Marketplace requires all users to identify themselves by registering for a client account before they can complete a trial registration or purchase a product. All Red Hat Marketplace accounts require email address validation. All users will be validated for export compliance (see the Export section).
Business-to-business transactions
Red Hat Marketplace will generally be restricted to Business-to-Business (B2B) transactions. In many countries this means a VAT number will be required for a client to register for a Red Hat Marketplace account. Where there are no tax implications, RHM will not limit transactions to B2B.
