General
To view your software, click Workspace located in the top navigation menu. This opens the My software page, where you can search, sort, or filter your products.
Account
To manage your account users, log into your account, and open the user management page by clicking on the user icon in the top right of the main menu and selecting My account > Access. From there, you can invite users to join your account and make changes to user roles as necessary.
To manage user roles, log into your account, and open the user management page by clicking on the user icon in the top right of the main menu and selecting My account > Access. From there, you can adjust roles for an existing user by clicking on the icon to the right of the user entry you wish to change. You can also assign roles to new users as you add them to your account.
Billing and usage
To update your billing or payment information, you must first log into your account. Then, open the account information page by clicking on the user icon in the top right of the main menu and clicking My account. The payment information can then be accessed by clicking on Payment method.
If you're using a purchase order (PO) as your payment method, the PO number must be verified before you can make a purchase on the Marketplace. Verification for a PO typically takes up to 2 business days after a PO number has been saved as your payment method. If you have a question on the status of your PO verification, please submit a support case. First, select "Account or Billing," and then indicate the Issue Type "Setting up my billing."
OpenShift
Red Hat Marketplace requires OpenShift Container Platform 4.2 or higher to run your entitled products.
When you register your OpenShift cluster with Red Hat Marketplace, an agent is installed that enables Red Hat Marketplace to install operators in your cluster. The agent also reports information about your cluster back to the Red Hat Marketplace. This happens so you can see important information about your cluster in the Marketplace, like which clusters are registered, what operators are installed in each cluster, and each cluster's version and status.
Support
When you filed your case, you should have received an automated email. Shortly after that, you would have received an email from one of our agents, based on the criticality of your issue, Service Level of your account, and the nature of your question (i.e. account, deployment, purchase, cluster linking, etc). Reply to either email and an agent will get you more information on your case’s status.
Technical
When you subscribe to an operator in Red Hat Marketplace, you must choose the cluster(s) into which you want to install the operator. Red Hat Marketplace configures an operator subscription in the selected cluster for the chosen product, and then Operator Lifecycle Manager (OLM) takes over to deploy the operator into your cluster. Once completed, developers can login to the cluster's OpenShift Console and deploy instances of the product that the operator will monitor.
No, your cluster requires internet connectivity to be able pull images from the Red Hat Marketplace private container image registry.
To prevent the Marketplace from collecting information from your environment, bypass the agent and install your products manually. Follow the manual deployment instructions in the Marketplace to deploy your products. Note that you will have no visibility into your cluster in the Marketplace or where your operators are installed. Certain dashboard views may also not be available.
Marketplace uses the information collected from your cluster to display registered cluster information in your Workspace, and information about each cluster, like version, status, and the operator subscriptions that have been installed in the cluster. Only the owners and admins of your account have access to the data.
The Marketplace watches resources in your cluster related to the Red Hat Marketplace products you have purchased and deployed into your cluster through the Marketplace. Watched resources include things related to the deployment of operators in your cluster, like Kubernetes subscription, operator, deployment, pod, and other resources. The Marketplace also gathers information about the cluster itself and its nodes. This information is gathered to show you which clusters are registered with the Marketplace, some information about your clusters, like version, status, and the operator subscriptions that have been installed in the cluster. The Marketplace will never read, watch or gather any of your existing Kubernetes secrets.
Datasets
On the Home page, on the Product categories section, click Datasets. All Datasets show on the page. To filter results, select options from additional facets: topic, industries, and source.
For instructions on accessing and downloading datasets on Red Hat Marketplace, refer to the Docs section. For access and integration issues, create a support case.
Datasets offered on Red Hat Marketplace are provided on an “AS IS” basis and IBM makes no warranties or conditions, express or implied, regarding the datasets or support for them. If support is needed for the dataset, reference the resources included on the Help tab on the dataset product page or, for additonal questions, contact the source directly.
At the moment connecting Code Ready Containers to the Object Storage where datasets are stored is not supported.
